LaGuardia car service pickup: Terminal B and C guide (2026)
LaGuardia is much easier than it used to be, but pickups still confuse people: the terminals are far apart and car services cannot just stop at any curb. Here is which airline uses which terminal, how a prearranged car pickup works, and what it costs to get to Manhattan.
Short Answer
Terminal B: the K sign in the car service lot. Terminal C: the arrivals curb.
Almost every LaGuardia flight now uses Terminal B or Terminal C, and the pickup works differently at each. At Terminal B, only yellow cabs can pick up at the arrivals curb, so for a standard pickup you walk to the rideshare and car service pickup lot, a short walk from arrivals, and meet your chauffeur at the K sign, the limo section. At Terminal C, you are picked up right at the arrivals curb. At both terminals you can add Meet & Greet, and your chauffeur meets you at baggage claim instead.
Terminals
Which airlines use which terminal?
Airlines sometimes move, so check your boarding pass or the airline app on the day. If you tell us your flight number when you book, we check the terminal for you.
How It Works
What happens after you land.
We track your flight
Your chauffeur follows the flight, so an early or late arrival is not a problem. The first hour of waiting after landing is free.
You get a text
As soon as your flight is marked as landed, your chauffeur texts you (or your contact person) to confirm the meeting point, at baggage claim or the curb. You also get the chauffeur's name, phone number and the vehicle. Take your time at baggage claim.
Terminal B standard pickup: the K sign
Under TLC rules, only yellow cabs can pick up passengers at the Terminal B arrivals area. Rideshare and prebooked cars like ours pick up in a parking lot a short walk from the terminal. Inside the lot, sections are marked with letter signs for Uber, Lyft and limos. Walk to the K sign, the limo and car service section, and your chauffeur meets you there.
Terminal C curbside: the arrivals curb
At Terminal C you are picked up at the arrivals curb, just outside the doors. Following these pickup tips keeps the pickup fast and stress-free.
Meet & Greet at baggage claim
With Meet & Greet ($85), your chauffeur waits for you at baggage claim with a name sign and walks you to the car. At Terminal B this is the easiest meeting point, and it helps with kids, lots of luggage or a first visit to New York. We compare both in Meet & Greet vs. curbside.
Prices
What a LaGuardia car service costs.
The flat fare is the same at any hour, with no surge. For other destinations, like Long Island, Westchester or New Jersey, we quote using per-mile pricing. If you are still choosing an airport, read JFK vs. LaGuardia vs. Newark.
Timing
How long to Manhattan?
LaGuardia is the closest airport to Midtown. Without traffic it is about 25 to 30 minutes. On weekday evenings, the Grand Central Parkway and the RFK Bridge can push that to an hour. For departures, we suggest the pickup time when you book, based on your flight and the time of day.
Avoid These
Common LaGuardia pickup mistakes.
- Waiting at the Terminal B arrivals curb; only yellow cabs pick up there, so walk to the car service lot and the K sign
- Turning your phone on only at the curb; turn it on as soon as you land
- Not telling us about a change of terminal or a missed connection
- Booking the wrong airport; double-check LGA vs. JFK on your ticket
