JFK terminals in 2026: where your car service picks you up

JFK is in the middle of a rebuild. Terminals are opening, closing and trading airlines, and that changes where your car meets you. Here is the current layout, terminal by terminal, and how a chauffeur pickup works at each one.

Which terminal is my airline?

TerminalMain airlines (October 2026)
Terminal 1Air France, Korean Air, Turkish Airlines and other international carriers. Moving to the New Terminal One once it opens.
Terminal 4Delta, plus Emirates, Singapore Airlines, Virgin Atlantic, KLM and many partners.
Terminal 5JetBlue.
Terminal 6New in 2026. JetBlue plus carriers such as Lufthansa, Air Canada, Cathay Pacific and ANA as they move in.
Terminal 7Being retired in phases as airlines shift to Terminal 6.
Terminal 8American Airlines, British Airways, Iberia, Finnair, Japan Airlines.

Airlines are moving often during construction. Check the terminal in your airline's app the day before you fly. We check it too. Meet & Greet is only available at Terminals 4, 5 and 8. Terminals 1 and 7 are curbside pickup only for now because of the ongoing construction. Following these pickup tips keeps the pickup fast and stress-free.

How your pickup works

  • We track your flight. Your chauffeur times the pickup to when you actually land, not the schedule.
  • Text when you have your bags. International arrivals at Terminals 1, 4 and 8 can mean a long customs line, so there is no need to rush.
  • Your chauffeur texts you once you land. As soon as your flight is marked as landed, your chauffeur texts you (or your contact person) to confirm the meeting point, at baggage claim or the curb.
  • Want to be met inside? With Meet & Greet ($85), your chauffeur waits in the arrivals hall with a name sign and walks you to the car.

Terminal-by-terminal tips

Terminal 4

The busiest terminal at JFK, with long international arrival waits at peak times. Meet & Greet is available here. If you are landing from overseas in the late afternoon, Meet & Greet saves you from hunting for your car in the crowd.

Terminals 5 and 6

JetBlue now operates out of both. Double-check which one your flight uses, especially for international JetBlue routes. Meet & Greet is available at Terminal 5, but Terminal 5 has the longest walk to the parking area, so there we recommend curbside pickup: it is faster, with less walking.

Terminal 1 and the New Terminal One

The New Terminal One's first phase had been targeted for 2026 and has slipped. Until it opens, those airlines keep using the old Terminal 1. When the switch happens, your airline will tell you, and we will route your chauffeur to the right building. For now, Terminal 1 is curbside pickup only because of the ongoing construction.

Terminal 8

American and its oneworld partners. Usually one of the smoother pickups at JFK outside the evening rush. Meet & Greet is available here.

Heading to JFK? Leave early

Construction moves lanes and drop-off points around the terminals. From Midtown, plan on roughly an hour in normal traffic and more at rush hour, then add your airline's check-in window on top.
